Loving

Kiss!!!Cheek to Cheek!

Here's Remus "loving" his uncle Dan. Now, having been the recipient of many of his "kisses," I can attest to the wetness and all-around sloppiness of these open mouthed gifts from Remus.

However, the exuberance in which he delivers them and the love he gives in each one more than makes up for the goo.

Now Grocery Shopping Is Fun

(WARNING! Geek Note: Blogger now supports PHOTOS!!!!! You don't KNOW how excited I am about that. No more multiple accounts with Flickr (though, Flicker, don't despair, I do LOVE your service and will continue to use it for photo album purposes) and other photo hosting sites. Blogger is getting closer to a one-stop blogging place. Now, if only they supported categories...)

Yet another picture of Remus and Uncle Dan bonding. Here they are during our weekly grocery shopping excursion - Remus never had such a good time buying food. Not only did Uncle entertain, but the little man got to sample many delicious treats. His favorite, by far, seemed to be the cherries. What a sweetie!!! If you look closely, you'll notice his lips are "cherry" colored....

Out Like a Light!

This is how I found Remus this morning - he was curled up at the head of the bed, hogging all the pillows. It seems like he's taken after his mama when it comes to sleeping.

Uncle Dan's In the House

LM loves his uncle Dan - who else plays with him so readily and patiently stacks blocks again and again so that LM can knock them back down again?

I watched LM and uncle play for about 20 minutes - I don't know what LM thinks is more funny, the blocks falling or Uncle Dan's reactions...

The First Parent-Teacher Conference

Today was LM's first parent-teacher conference. Both DaddyR and I went to meet with LM's teacher (with Uncle Dan along to watch LM) at day care. According to his teacher, he's dong well. He seems to enjoy the "school" situation and plays nicely along side the other kids (obvious exception, his "incident reports"). Hopefully he's setting a trend for the rest of his school years.

Goodnight My Angel

Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel) - Billy Joel

Goodnight my angel, time to close your eyes
And save these questions for another day
I think I know what you've been asking me
I think you know what I've been trying to say

I promised I would never leave you
And you should always know
Wherever you may go
No matter where you are
I never will be far away

Goodnight my angel, now it's time to sleep
And still so many things I want to say
Remember all the songs you sang for me
When we went sailing on an emerald bay

And like a boat out on the ocean
I'm rocking you to sleep
The water's dark and deep
Inside this ancient heart
You'll always be a part of me

Goodnight my angel, now it's time to dream
And dream how wonderful your life will be
Someday your child may cry
And if you sing this lullabye
Then in your heart
There will always be a part of me

Someday we'll all be gone
But lullabyes go on and on...
They never die
That's how you
And I
Will be

Thank Goodness It's Friday!

It's finally Friday - both Remus and I are tired from our trip. I think we both haven't quite gotten over the time change. Oh well - at least the week is over and we have the weekend to recuperate.

Remus Watch Is Back! (Strike 1 for MommyR)

Okay, so being the BAD blogger I am, I completely abandoned the old "Remus Watch" blog and I'm making my second attempt at being a GOOD blogger. You know, starting all over again as the old blog would have needed a major overhaul to fix up.

Anyhow, I'm trying this again, and I will try to put backdated posts up to recover what I missed in the past, so keep checking back!!!
